Virtual local teams
Healthy rivalry amongst regions.
Let’s see which suburbs are hitting the streets and raising the most for dog welfare through The Great Dog Walk Challenge.
You are encouraged to join your virtual local team. Any funds raised will be added to your local area total. Keep track of and compete with other suburbs.
By joining your local team, it doesn’t mean you and your doggo have to walk with your neighbours (although you can if you want!) – it’s about virtually working together to increase your local fundraising tally.
DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO JOIN A LOCAL TEAM
Simply choose if you’re from the north, east, south or west of the Geelong CBD, or if you live in the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula, or outside of Greater Geelong. Then any funds you or other local teammates raise will be added to the team total.
- To join a team you must register for the challenge
- Select ‘Join a team’ when setting up your fundraising page
- Select the team you want to join from teams list
- Complete your registration
